Cheese Packaging and Warehouse Manager

Manage and coordinate operations related to packaging of a variety of cheeses including Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella, String cheese, Mascarpone, and Snack products. Participate in the implementation of FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System. Coordinate all aspects of packaging and related departments consistent with company objectives focusing on maximization of product quality, production yield, control of expenses, as defined in the budget and effective use of staffing in a climate that promotes a safe and positive environment for all employees assigned to the facility. Monitor packaging material and inventories. Manage and oversee the supply of all departments with raw ingredients for cheese making. Enforce all GMP Quality, OSHA, and AIB standards. Work closely with Quality and Food Safety team to ensure the quality and specifications of product meet the company standards. Analyze and evaluate packaging efficiency data and determine the net effect. Lead and control various packaging parameters and implement corrective actions. Organize the Packaging and Warehouse Teams work (70 people).
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Production Manager or Operations Manager. Employer will consider any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
