November 28th, 2023SummaryThe Quality Manager is responsible for responsible for improving the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Key Activities Supervise the workflow, training, and development of Quality Department employees Complete documentation to address customer root cause- corrective action responses Supervise input and analysis of quality data for trends and management review.
Share data with team members.
Develop corrective and continuous improvement plans to address trending quality issues Maintain and develop the Quality Management System programs, documentation, and quality audits (internal and external) Communicate with customers in regards to material quality concerns, trials, improvement opportunities Develop test plan and reporting structure for trials and samples Comply with standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and safety procedures, including but not limited to personal protective equipment, job hazard assessments, machine guarding, material handling, safe lifting, plant safety rules, and environmental regulations.
Preferred Skills Must possess excellent skills in working in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Educations & Experience Must have strong leadership experience (will have 4 direct reports).
